NEW! The Crown Cryogenic range offers the high quality turning tools with a difference. The cryogenically treated tool means that now you can turn more and sharpen less often! The tools are made from M2 steel which is taken down to temperatures as low as -300 degrees which changes the molecular structure of the steel to create a hardness that means as a turner, you have a longer lasting tool. Fitted with a beautiful black ash handle. There is a wide range of sizes and types to choose from.
The Crown Cryogenic standard Spindle Gouge comes in three sizes:
235KW - 1/4" (6mm) with 10" (254mm) Handle
236KW - 3/8" (10mm) with 10" (254mm) Handle
237KW - 1/2" (13mm) with 10" (254mm) Handle
There are also Forged Spindle Gouge options available in 5 sizes:
2308KW - 5/16" (6mm) with 10" (254mm) Handle
2310KW - 3/8" (10mm) with 10" (254mm) Handle
2312KW - 1/2" (13mm) with 10" (254mm) Handle
