The Lynx Stone Saw is for use in cutting limestone and sand stone etc. The saw has a beech handle and is available in both a standard and deep blade size.

Thomas Flinn Mitre Saw Blades are made from the finest carbon spring steel and are suitable for most Mitre Saws with a variety of sizes from 550mm to 630mm to suit your needs. The different tooth sizes mean they will cut a variety of materials.

For your guidance, the 14tpi is for general woodworking, 18tpi is for fine cutting on materials such as wood, plastic and soft metals. 24tpi and 30tpi for fine cutting on materials such as brass, aluminium other non-ferrous metals.

One of our most popular mail order requests, the One and Two Man Cross Cut Saws have proved to be a much sought after product. These large saws are used mostly in forestry work and the crosscutting of large logs. The teeth on the Two Man Cross Cut Saws work in a way that the teeth cut on the pull stroke on each side of the tooth and so actually cut in each pulling direction. The 3 foot One Man Cross Cut Saw is provided with an auxiliary handle and the Two Man Cross Cut Saws come with two wooden handles. Available in a range of sizes to suit your needs.
Sizing advice: we recommend a saw length that is double the size of wood you are wanting to cut. This is to ensure that you can get enough stroke in your cutting.

The large file is for larger toothed saws i.e. Two Man Cross Cut Saws
The medium file is for Handsaw and large Tenon Saws.
The Precision File is used for Dovetail Saws.
A Beech handle is also available.

The wooden framed Turning Saw (also known as the Frame Saw) is used for a range of curved work. When twisted, the twine at the top of the frame gives the blade its tension. This is a very traditional style saw and are believed to have origins in the Middle Ages, when the blades were so thin and flexible that the frame stopped them from buckling. The frame is made from polished beech with turned handles.
